Randy Doerneman is director of the Center for Independent and Distance Learning. He was previously program director of College Independent Study at the University of Nebraska. Randy was a naval aviator for 12 years, flying helicopters and coordinating education and training efforts for the U.S. Navy. He received a bachelor's degree in education in 1985 from Wayne State College, Wayne, Neb. and a master's degree in education in post-secondary educational administration from the University of Nebraska in 1995.
