Mark Hamilton is the director for the Center for
English as a Second Language at the University of Oklahoma. He received a bachelor’s degree
in letters from University of Oklahoma and a
master’s
degree in teaching English to speakers of other
languages from Indiana University.
Prior to coming to OU, Mark served as an instructor
and head curriculum developer at Eternal-Life Christ
College in Taipei, Taiwan. While in Taiwan, he
also edited English language textbooks, published
articles in magazines for language learners and
appeared weekly on a radio show. Mark has also
taught at Yonsei University and Kangnung National
University in Korea and with the Japan Exchange
and Teaching Programme.
The Center for English as a Second Language (CESL)
offers an intensive English program for students
who wish to improve their English quickly and thoroughly.
CESL classes serve both beginning and advanced
levels of English language skills.
