Susan Newkham is a senior program development specialist at Evaluation and Testing (EandT), where she has logged more than 10 years of experience in school testing, including achievement, ability and special area testing. EandT is the largest comprehensive test scoring center in the state. As a senior program development specialist at EandT, Ms. Newkham draws on her background in early childhood education to develop assessment plans and select appropriate testing instruments for the 300-plus school districts and home and private schools EandT serves statewide. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Trinity College and has served as a member on the public school board and is active in the local school foundation. Her other interests include gardening, reading and cooking.
