Business and Economic Development, Center for Provides executive business and economic development training through programs such as the University of Oklahoma's Economic Development Institute (OU/EDI), the Economic Development Administration University Center and American Banking Association banking programs. Conference Services Conference facilitation services for organizations holding events at the University of Oklahoma Outreach College of Continuing Education. On-site coordinators offer meeting planners a single point of contact for economical and reliable meetings and conferences. Back to Top
Continuing Legal Education Offers continuing legal education credit to lawyers in conjunction with the University of Oklahoma College of Law. Economic Development Institute (OU/EDI)

 

Drawing its instructors from the ranks of today's leading economic development practitioners and educators across the country, OU/EDI provides up-to-date knowledge and tools necessary to succeed in today's competitive marketplace and is the only multi-year, professional level program of its type in the United States. Education Programs Credit courses and conferences for undergraduate and graduate students, teachers, administrators and school support personnel. Back to Top
Educational Training, Evaluation, Assessment and Measurement - ETEAM Comprised of two units, the Department of Research and Evaluation provides custom-designed research studies and program evaluations. The Department of Student Assessment and Testing provides testing services to approximately 80,000 students in public, private and home schools across the nation. Back to Top
Effective Schools, Center for Provides services for the advancement and improvement of at-risk K-12 public schools and districts in Oklahoma. Back to Top
Engineering/Geosciences Programs Provides engineers with conferences, seminars, workshops and courses. These include the annually held Corrosion Control Course, Blowout Prevention School, Laurance Reid Gas Conditioning Conference, Gas Compressor Short Course and the International School of Hydrocarbon Measurement. KGOU Radio A full-service public radio station, KGOU Radio originates in the studios located on the campus of the University of Oklahoma and is delivered by two transmitters to nearly one million citizens in central Oklahoma. Back to Top

Training and Research Center A full-support service center which provides goods and services to primarily internal University departments. Customers include the Center for Public Management, the National Resource Center for Youth Services and the Center on Child Abuse and Neglect. USPS Advanced Leadership Program A leadership development program for U.S. Postal Service managers in cooperation with the Kenan-Flagler School of Business, University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Back to Top
USPS National Center for Employee Development Under a contract with the U.S. Postal Service, provides instructors and support staff for the Norman-based U.S. Postal Service National Center for Employee Development, the sole technical training facility for the USPS. The center trains approximately 60,000 postal technicians a year from all over the U.S. teaching hands-on maintenance courses on computer-driven mail processing equipment, electronics, building support systems and postal vehicles.
