The Positive Learning Climates KnowledgeBase is an online resource to aid educators in nurturing school climates conducive to learning. It is organized around five elements aimed at developing a positive learning climate.

Task 1: Identify Target Audiences

Guideline: Communications related to a school's learning climate should be targeted to the needs of its audience. Such groups include the following:

  • School - Staff, Parents, and Students
  • District - Superintendent, District Staff, and Board of Education
  • Community - Taxpayers, Business Leaders, Public Safety and Local Government Officials, and News Media
  • State - Department of Education
