The Positive Learning Climates KnowledgeBase is an online resource to aid educators in nurturing school climates conducive to learning. It is organized around five elements aimed at developing a positive learning climate.

America's Promise Alliance

This link is to information about the effective education promise addressed by America's Promise Alliance. This promise promotes dropout prevention efforts. As noted at its website, "America's Promise Alliance is a cross-sector partnership of 400+ corporations, nonprofits, faith-based organizations and advocacy groups that are passionate about improving lives and changing outcomes for children."

ReClaiming Youth Network

As noted at its website, "Reclaiming Youth International is dedicated to the development and dissemination of proactive policies, training, research, programs and strategies to better serve children and youth who are in conflict in family, school and community."

Strategies for Dropout Prevention

The National Center for Dropout Prevention has identified 15 strategies that have had a positive impact on dropout rates. The link offers an overview of the 15 strategies along with additional resources.
