BCBA SUPERVISION

Supervision for students working toward their Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA)

PROVIDED BY ANNIE BAGHDAYAN, PHD, BCBA-D, LBA, UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA OUTREACH

Dr. Annie Baghdayan has worked in the field of Special education and Behavior Analysis for more than two decades. She started working under BCBA’s as a behavior therapist in home-based programs with children and adults with disabilities. While working on her doctoral degree, Baghdayan directed the Oklahoma Autism Day School and provided ongoing trainings to more than 16 behavioral therapists. She then joined the Oklahoma Autism Network to conduct a research study for the state of Oklahoma in teaching parents social communication strategies to interact with their young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Baghdayan was the Lead Behavior Analyst at the Oklahoma Autism Network (University of Oklahoma), where she mentored and worked directly with teachers and students and provided training and supervision for BCBA students.

Supervision for students working toward their Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA)

Currently, Baghdayan is the director of the National Center for Disability Education and Training (NCDET), where she offers personable and expert supervision to candidates across the state of Oklahoma seeking certification in applied behavior analysis. She is also an assistant adjunct professor for the College of Education, teaching courses for the special education program and supervising interns. She also serves at the Oklahoma Licensed Behavior Analyst Board and the Oklahoma Council for Exceptional Children Board. With NCDET, candidates gain access to Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)-approved supervision, as recommended by the board.
