Celebrating Outreach Staff and Service
Published: Monday, June 15, 2026
Outreach staff support learners, partners, and communities well beyond our campus, often balancing complex operations with a strong commitment to service. Their work helps extend OU’s mission in practical, visible ways, and it deserves recognition.
That recognition was on full display at this year’s Staff Awards Ceremony, where we had the opportunity to celebrate staff contributions from across the university. These moments matter because so much staff work happens quietly—ensuring programs run smoothly, supporting learners and clients, maintaining systems, and solving problems before they ever reach the spotlight. The ceremony allowed participants to pause and acknowledge the expertise, consistency, and care that staff bring to their roles.
This year, we were proud to celebrate a couple of outstanding Outreach employees. Richard Feinberg marked 35 years of service to OU—a milestone that reflects decades of dedication and institutional knowledge. We also recognized Jeremy Caudle with a Staff Senate Distinguished Performance Award, honoring his outstanding contributions and commitment to service. These recognitions represent the best of what staff contribute to OU every day and shine a light on the excellence right here in Outreach.
