KGOU is proud to hire OU students and help shape a new generation of media professionals. KGOU currently has five student employees from OU’s Gaylord College in journalism, production, and administration: Audrey McClour, Sophie Diment, Carter Denton, Kylie Caldwell and Inasmuch Foundation Fellow Colson Pocock. These students are learning the basics of public media in a real-world environment. Working with KGOU’s professional staff, they are preparing for their careers with hands-on experience. For more than fifty years, KGOU has provided media training  and opportunities for students at the University of Oklahoma.
