KGOU partners with Home Creations and Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma for a season of giving KGOU staff had a wonderful time volunteering at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma alongside employees of residential builder Home Creations to bag 16,500 pounds of apples. The collaboration stems from a fundraising partnership during the holiday season. Home Creations added $20 to every KGOU donation and the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma up to 500 donors, totaling up to $10,000 for each organization, which created 30,000 meals for Oklahoma children, seniors, and working families in addition to supporting independent journalism and entertainment programming.
