The results are in from the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters Outstanding Achievement Awards for 2025 - and KGOU won three!!!  https://oabok.org/awards/outstanding-achievement-awards/

In the Metro Radio Division, KGOU took first place for general news and website, and Best of Show!  KGOU’s general news winning entry was Logan Layden’s story on the dedication of the Clara Luper National Sit-In Plaza in Oklahoma City.

There are specific guidelines for how promotion can be done (guidelines and awards announcement attached), which have to adhered to, but bottom line - KGOU made a huge statement at the OAB awards with an outstanding showing, including the top radio award – Best of Show - in the metro radio division (which includes Oklahoma City and Tulsa). 

This is truly an outstanding achievement and team effort!

The awards banquet will be held April 9 at the OKANA Resort in Oklahoma City for those interested in attending.
