National Conference on Race and Ethnicity Connections

NCORE Connections 2024 took place from November 6-8, 2024, and successfully brought together educators, professionals, and advocates dedicated to higher education access and opportunity. The event provided a dynamic platform for participants to share knowledge, discuss best practices, and connect with peers committed to fostering meaningful change. From interactive workshops to thought-provoking keynotes, NCORE Connections inspired impactful conversations aimed at building a more inclusive and understanding society.

This year’s event addressed pressing issues in the higher education community, with sessions covering complex conversations, historical trauma, and strategies for creating opportunity. Participants engaged in well-curated sessions and intentional networking opportunities, gaining practical tools and insights to bring back to their institutions and communities. The conference's focus on actionable recommendations ensured that attendees left equipped to lead inclusively within their own spheres.

NCORE Connections 2024 also highlighted new initiatives, including reflections on the Native American and Indigenous experience, presentations of recent research findings, and focused recommendations to advance access and opportunity. Over three days, attendees gained a renewed sense of purpose and direction, ready to apply the conference’s insights to their work.

Looking ahead, NCORE 2025 will be hosted from May 27-30, 2025, in New York City! We’re excited to announce that the Call for Presentations is now open.
