Dear friends and colleagues, 

Welcome to the third edition of The Outreach Gazette: Connecting Campus to Communities! It is an honor to share with you the latest updates and accomplishments that reflect our collective hard work and dedication to excellence. 

Since our last newsletter, our community has experienced significant transitions and exciting developments. First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude and best wishes to two of our dedicated directors who have retired, Ms. Julie Tate and Dr. Susan Kimmel. Their contributions have left an indelible mark on our organization, and we celebrate their legacy as we move forward. 

Looking ahead, we are eagerly planning a retreat in the vibrant city of Tulsa, Oklahoma, this fall. This retreat will provide us with a unique opportunity to come together, reflect on our achievements, and strategize for the future in a setting that fosters collaboration and innovation. 

I am also thrilled to share that I recently had the privilege of speaking at the United Nations 23rd InfoPoverty Conference. The conference focused on the transformative role of AI in meeting the United Nations’ goals of ending poverty, protecting the planet, and ensuring prosperity for all. 

In addition to these milestones, we have successfully launched the postal training contract, an initiative that will undoubtedly enhance our capacity to deliver top-notch training and support. Our team has also been diligently submitting numerous grants to various national and state funders, demonstrating our commitment to securing resources that will enable us to expand our impact and reach. 

Our college continues to thrive thanks to the unwavering dedication and hard work of our staff. Each one of you plays a crucial role in making our organization as exceptional as it is. From innovative projects to everyday excellence, your contributions are the foundation of our success. 

As you read through this edition of The Outreach Gazette, I hope you feel a sense of pride and inspiration. We are a community of changemakers, and together, we are making a difference in the lives of individuals and communities alike. 

Thank you for your continued commitment to our mission. I look forward to all that we will achieve together in the months and years to come.
