This success story features the first-ever 988 crisis line for Indigenous callers, run by the Volunteers of America Western Washington.

During its May meeting, the Oklahoma State Board of Education approved CECPD’s Early Learning Quick Assessment (ELQA) for statewide use as a kindergarten literacy readiness screening instrument.  School districts may now use Reading Sufficiency Act (RSA) funds to purchase the ELQA.

The University of Oklahoma Outreach has received a grant of up to $900,000 from Oklahoma Human Services through the Center for Public Management (CPM) in the College of Continuing Education. This funding is part of the State of Oklahoma's Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF.) block grant.

OU.r Voice is a student group that advocates for mental health awareness and stigma reduction for OU and the Norman community.  ETEAM’s Clifford Sipes is the OU staff facilitator/advisor.  OU.r Voice is getting attention from students and staff because of its mission and activities.

The bioscience, aviation, aerospace and energy industries have a large presence in Oklahoma, causing highly sensitive information to exchange hands every day and creating a need for highly skilled cybersecurity and coding professionals. The University of Oklahoma, in partnership with Fullstack Academy, is working to fill the state’s skills gap in these areas through a series of online bootcamps offered through OU Outreach/College of Continuing Education
